Flight attendants spend much of their time making airline passengers feel comfortable; however, their primary responsibility is ensuring the safety of everyone aboard the aircraft. This Flight Attendant Certificate has been developed by a Canadian tourism training college, and the programme is now certified by SITAL College. While the programme is not a pre-requisite for entry into the airline industry, many of our graduates are enjoying their careers as Flight Attendants. The programme is comprehensive and applicable to the needs of the industry and equips students with the skills and knowledge required to apply to airlines with confidence.

It is important to acquire additional qualifications and skills such as a foreign language (notably Spanish), first-aid and swimming as well as CXC passes and other qualifications. Individual airlines have their own pre-requisites.

There are two components – Flight Attendant Training and Tourism Geography.

Students must complete course work quizzes and assignments and two final exams. The programme is delivered by experienced flight attendants.
