Overview of Programme
Event management is the application of project management to the creation and development of festivals, events and conferences.
It involves studying the intricacies of the brand, identifying the target audience, devising the event concept, planning the logistics and coordinating the technical aspects before actually launching the event.
SITAL College offers an introductory programme that provides students with the knowledge to plan simple events. Students can use this knowledge to start their own business, to make event planning a sideline for extra income, and for those who want to do this on a grand scale, their opportunities to progress to programmes in business management up to the Bachelor’s and Master’s Levels.
The advanced qualifications in business allow you to choose modules such as Event Planning and Project Management.
