BA Graduate – Iyana Byron-Hector

“It is better to try and fail, than fail to try.” I live by these words. Personal development has always been my modus operandi, so when the opportunity presented itself for me to grow, I prayed, sought direction, and got the confirmation to enrol at SITAL College to read for my MBA specializing in Human resource management from the University of Bedfordshire. A decision that changed my life for the better. From the inception the staff at SITAL relieved most of my fears, they were supportive and made my journey less complicated. Each week I looked forward in anticipation to our class discussions and the relevant information shared by the knowledgeable lecturers who made my time interesting and exciting.

I must admit that I had my fair share of challenges. Balancing life and studies did take its toll on me but thank God for the support of my family and the friends that I made. We encouraged each other daily to hold on because the end was near. I will not trade this experience and the journey continues, and as one lecturer continually reminded us that “we were captains of our industry.”
