ABMA DIPLOMAS IN PUBLIC HEALTH MANAGEMENT
The need for specially trained individuals with the capacity to encourage healthier practices and protect against the constant threats to public health, has never been greater.
The ABMA Diplomas in Public Health Management are designed to develop individuals to respond effectively and professionally to issues that can impact the health of communities and the wider region.
SITAL College has partnered with ABMA to offer 3 levels of these accredited qualifications – Diploma levels 4, 5 and 6. Ideal for persons at different stages in their careers - from high school leavers and entry-level healthcare employees to hospital administrators and managers to nurses and hospital technicians. The Diplomas will also benefit public servants and other professionals working in healthcare policy-making and in a variety of governmental and non-governmental roles; and persons seeking/already employed in public or private hospitals, clinics and doctors’ practices.
Learners should already be in possession of a level 3 qualification or equivalent and CSEC Maths and English.

Work experience for a minimum of one year within a job in the health sector. Examples of evidence that ABMA will accept include:
Learners are encouraged to submit to ABMA Education details of all types of training that they have obtained.
Diploma 5
A new learner applying to study the ABMA Level 5 Diploma will be expected to have attained one of the following:

A minimum of two years relevant work experience and working in a field related to public health. Examples of evidence that ABMA Education will accept include:

The above entry requirements are subject to change and all student registrations are accepted at the discretion of ABMA Education.
Level 4 Diploma comprises 5 units that can be completed in 8 months (2 semesters). Levels 5 and 6 can be completed in 9-12 months based on the number of modules students select per semester. Classes are conducted on evenings and Saturdays, and students can choose to study between 1-3 modules a semester.
