MBA Graduate – Krizia Fabien

Choosing the MBA : I was encouraged to move out of my comfort zone. It was a new challenge for me as I came from a foreign language undergraduate program and had no educational background or professional experience in management. When I saw the program, I knew that it was the one that I wanted to pursue. I wanted to focus on something new and explore an entirely different field of study in order to expand my knowledge and career options. The option to work full time while having the option to study online was perfect for me.  I was worried that my move abroad during my 5th unit of the program would negatively impact my focus and class attendance, however it was far from

that. The availability and easy access of the materials online really made things easier for me while transitioning to a new job, language and life. I was able to complete the program by the expected end date and it really gave me a sense of fulfillment  . My TIP supervisor was extremely supportive and flexible with his schedule despite our 13 hour time difference. I received regular feedback for my final assignment and on several occasions, had the opportunity to contact him on mornings, before I headed off to work.

At first, it was definitely intimidating being enrolled in courses with persons who were highly experienced and educated in management but then I realized that it was not about being the best, but doing my best. I’d started from almost zero and definitely experienced self growth and development within one year. I am really happy that I decided to be a part of this MBA. Thank you again for all of your support and great service.
